Current Research Projects
1. Analysis of the early text ‘al-Hujjah ‘ala Ahl al-Madinah’ with a comparison of later books of
Usul and Dala’il.
2. The Idea of Taqsim al-Dar in later 18 th -early 19 th century India with a focus on the Deobandi
reaction

He is currently working on the translation and commentary of the al-Mabadi fi ‘Ulum al-Hadith by the great Hadith scholar of the Indian-subcontinent Shabbir Ahmed Uthmani.
